the fact that we’ve been given a son is still astounding to me. the idea that I’d be given anything else, incredible.

let me fall into that sweet pace, the real one that while it longs for home, does everything it can to recreate it here and now.

let me, when given two paths, not waver. let me have clarity and the strength to see and to speak the truth.

for whatever I can try to do, It will never match what I’ve been given.
