the collection pairs silvia’s strings with raw & polished citrine and rose quartz, and faceted carnelian in both earrings and chokers.
silvia is working on a lot of new music right now, including “Canti di guerra, di lavoro e d’amore,” a reinterpretation of Italian traditional songs from the Resistance and the rural world of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, with collaborator cellist deborah walker. you can contribute to making this recording possible here.
I always love working with silvia’s violin strings. after she sent me this most recent set, i began to hear more about italy’s situation with coronavirus. although it is only a small contribution, i am using this collection to give back to italy in silvia’s honor.
